Guides

Quick-start workflows

Practical setup and operating guides for the most common LBCAssist workflows.

Support

New tenant setup

  1. Create the contractor account and default administrator.
  2. Complete Stripe Checkout or an approved promotional access flow.
  3. Add users, assign licenses, and grant least-privilege permissions.
  4. Create projects, addresses, services, and assignments.

Project setup

  1. Create the project record using the guidance shown beside the name and description fields.
  2. Add one or more project addresses and address types.
  3. Enable Files, Diagrams, Time, Mileage, or Tasks as needed.
  4. Assign users to the services they should use.

Set up a team

  1. Open Teams and create a group for people who work on the same projects.
  2. Follow the current rules shown by the Team form: names are 3 to 128 letters, numbers, hyphens, or underscores; they start and end with a letter or number. Names are unique within your company even when capitalization differs.
  3. Add people from your company, then assign the team in each project’s Project assignments section.
  4. Roles still decide what each member may do. Unassign a team from every project before deleting it.

Entering names and details

  1. Read the guidance next to each field; it is specific to that kind of value and can change as the service evolves.
  2. Leading and trailing spaces are removed for supported text fields. Do not rely on a form to silently shorten or replace invalid text.
  3. Project titles, diagram titles, and file names may use ordinary Unicode text where the field allows it. File names cannot be paths or a name made only of periods.
  4. If a form reports a conflict or invalid value, correct it and submit again. The server is the final authority for uniqueness and current rules.

Read the full form-requirements help.

Invite users

  1. Open Users from the workspace navigation.
  2. Create the user, assign a license, and grant only the needed permissions.
  3. Confirm the welcome email was sent and resend it from the member detail if needed.

Upload files

  1. Select the project and address, then open Files.
  2. Upload files within the tenant limit and wait for scan status.
  3. Use retention and legal-hold controls only when your permission allows it.

Run reports

  1. Open Reports and choose the report type.
  2. Set project, user, reason, status, and date filters as needed.
  3. Run the report before exporting CSV, XLS, or PDF.

Configure MFA

  1. Open your profile to manage passkeys and multi-factor authentication.
  2. Use Tenant settings to enforce the tenant MFA policy when permitted.
  3. Keep at least one enabled default factor when tenant policy requires MFA.

Work with subcontractors

  1. Create or redeem relationship invite codes.
  2. Assign a subcontractor to a project address with selected collaboration scopes.
  3. Review pending actions, exchanged documents, and subproject status from Subcontractors.

Daily field work

  1. Open the portal, choose a project, then choose an address.
  2. Open the relevant service from the project detail panel.
  3. Refresh reports and audit logs when reviewing completed work.
  4. Use Help or Support when a permission, assignment, or billing state blocks access.
